Owners’ attitudes to taking pets to vet’s

Vets often recommend that you should take your pet to see them at least once a year and not just when they are unwell. And in a recent survey amongst more than 5,000 UK pet owners CM research confirmed that the large majority follow this advice. But as most of us suspect, the visiting frequency varies hugely, almost along the same lines as visits to the dentist!

Only 4% of pet owners had not visited a vet at all in the past year. 18% had visited once, with the majority visiting a vet between 2 and 4 times a year.
