A survey by CM Research asked 195 vets in the UK about the benefits of using v-gel: The first ever veterinary species specific supraglottic airway devices for anesthesia and resuscitation.

The survey revealed that the majority of vets think the safety for the patient is the clear benefit. Speed and ease of insertion and elimination of trauma / post op morbidity is also a benefit, with very few vets thinking that there was no benefit at all.
